Almost any metal bed from the same period as the 323 will be a good machine for you. I prefer Studio (Silver Reed) machines, but if you have an opportunity to purchase any similarly aged machine at a good price, you won't go wrong - as long as the machine is in working order. Whatever you decide, be sure to 'audition' the machine and if possible, find someone local who knows KM to assist you. Some repair/replacement items, such as sponges/sponge bars, are easy to find and install, but many other parts can be impossible to find. If you have a local dealer who sells used, refurbished machines, check that out as well. So you found a great buy on a used knitting machine. Only one catch – there’s no manual.
